VOCAL HEALTH / REHABILITATION

Good vocal health is important for anyone who uses their voice to communicate – but particularly for people who use their voice professionally, and for younger voices that have not fully developed.

If your voice is getting tired quickly or is feeling strained, it could be that you are not using it in the most efficient way – be that singing or speaking.  There are many different factors that can influence vocal health and vocal efficiency, including external/environmental factors.

Gareth is passionate about safe and efficient vocal production, and he integrates these important aspects into his teaching.

If you are experiencing symptoms of unhealthy voice use, and you feel that your voice or your vocal performance is suffering as a result, often these issues can be identified and then resolved through a specifically designed exercise program.

As part of his teaching, Gareth offers help, advice and practical guidance on how to address a variety of vocal issues, including:-

  • Vocal fatigue
  • Breathiness
  • Lack of stamina
  • Voice ‘cutting out’
  • Soreness
  • Vocal ‘scratching’
  • Recovery techniques
